Darkness is
often, not the absence
but the blinding presence of light.
The colours of creation consolidated
and gifted to night,
that heals the marks, the scars,
the injuries, the wounds,
Gathered through time.
There, reside the roots of existence
There, lie the seeds of Creation
There, rest the words
in the lap of infinite silence
There unites death with life.
In the dark of nights,
in the name of dreams
Into our ears, Hope sings.
