Jenny Rouquette is the Partnership Lead at Shropshire Good Food Partnership, an organisation focused on promoting sustainable and local food systems. Jenny works to bring people together and access resources for sustainable food initiatives. Promote agro-ecological approaches and regenerative farming across Shropshire County, and facilitate partnerships and build relationships between people and the planet. She has a diverse background that combines ecology, international development, and sustainable agriculture. Jenny is an ecologist by training and has extensive experience working on food systems across the world. Before her current role, she worked in international development, spending time in various countries collaborating with community groups, non-governmental organisations, and social enterprises. From 2015 to early 2020, Jenny lived in Uganda, where she led a social enterprise called TruTrade. This organisation aimed to increase smallholder farmer incomes by integrating them into sustainable value chains. ts success in fostering a more sustainable local food system.
